## How does explainer length judge a draft?

It counts words, paragraphs, and sentences, estimates reading time at about 220 words a minute, and notes when a draft is under 600 words or over 2,200. Those are room checks, not ranking scores.

## How to use it

Paste the draft, including headings if you want paragraph breaks to match the page.

Under 600 words, check that the tradeoff and the no are actually present.

Over 2,200, look for a second buyer question to split out.

A high average sentence length means quotes will break. Split those sentences before you add more sections.

### Is 600 words a minimum for search?

No. It is a rough room check for a decision that includes a no. A clear 500-word no can be finished. A 2,000-word pitch can still be empty.

### Why 220 words a minute?

It is a conservative silent-reading pace for explanatory prose. It is an estimate for the reader, not a quality score.

### Do headings count?

Yes, if you paste them. They are part of what the reader sees.
